Dealing with new technology...

Fri Apr 24, 2009, 7:25 PM
Firstly, apologies to anyone who has given me lovely comments if I haven't responded/returned them so far. I will hopefully do so very soon. I've had some computer problems... Well, mainly that my laptop was stolen from work. I had mostly everything backed up, but it's still taken me a while to get settled with the new computer and get the old files transferred from my external drive, and get software installed.

I also have a new scanner, so the pictures I post henceforth will not have those disgusting horizontal lines through them. No, I didn't always draw on lined paper. Yes, my scanner was just that bad. It was 9 years old and had been dropped at one point. RIP, old scanner. Actually, it still basically works, it's just in storage. So, rest in storage. Also, as the new line-free scanner is part of a printer/scanner combo, there may be some more colored pictures popping up now. I didn't previously have a printer, and I can't bring myself to color originals. And I am terrible at digital art, so coloring in photoshop is probably not happening.

I don't know if I added you or not... I don't know how this page works! I'll try again when I'm on the Mac if this didn't work.
