Ah yes... well, I can fully understand why. I still have a lingering crush on Atticus Finch which reaches back to highschool days, and I'm sure it's at least 40% this guy's fault!
It's a really beautiful rendition; I can't charcoal (smudge everything; can't highlight), so I'm always equal parts jealous and amazed when others do. The jawline, the mouth, the tilt of the head, the wistful look in the eyes... it's a winner, oh yes.
By the way, do you have a link to your reference pic, because this looks to be a much younger Gregory Peck to what I know. I've only ever seen him in Roman Holiday and To Kill a Mockingbird, and he looks so young and lean-faced here.
